It is still 80* at 0730 this morning, is that out of line or what?

I'm not sure exactly how old these are. I bought some from a friend that were already laying this last week since we ended up with a bunch of roosters. How old are they usually when they start wanting to be Brody?


It depends but I think around a year or so, maybe later. But some have gone broody as soon as 10 months, I even heard I believe 6 or 8 months once. Usually Orpingtons or other such typically broody breeds
