@prostar , have you ever had a SS before? I hope yours turns out to be the sweet, wonderful birds ours have been. Love, love, love the SS!

luv the babies prostar - I expect everyone is sick of my carrying on but DH is thinking of moving to get a bigger plot so I can have my chooks back - he wants to breed them, what can I say but chickens are addicitve.

@whoop whoop , that sounds like a stellar idea! Hope it works out for all of you (you, DH and the chooks)!

Mornin yall!
My SS were/are super talkative and personable. Did more weed-whacking and tidying up around the upper lake. Designated a spot to start composting all of the lake weeds that are floating in after being cut and not only that, but got a volunteer to keep up on it!
I will know Tuesday if I get more chicks this week. Hope so as it would be nice to get the whole chick thing over and all organized into the coop. The Maraduna Basque chicks are very personable and scooch on over to say HI any time you put your hand down. If we didn't have the kitten roaming the house, I bet my kiddo would have these chicks everywhere.

@NorthFLChick thanks for good wishes. There is no accounting for men, DH wants to buy a HUGE place now, build small cottages and rent them out, and have an area for MY chooks. Honestly it would be much cheaper to build a new run for me/chooks.

Virgos I will never understand them, apparantely he has been sitting on this idea for months and not said a word. So now we are looking, the thought of moving years and years of accumlated stuff, let alone everything else is quite daunting. Still is sounds quite exciting I suppose you are never too old to start new things
