I'm sorry Whoop and I know NFChick would NOT lie - but, Scrabble must have gone down hill - there is NO way those letters could be words, except in some prehistoric society maybe that just grunts, or as some word the text ers have made up.

You're probably right DD but they are in the official dictionary so I'm using them! (But if you want to challenge me and I'm right, then you lose a turn!)

Wonder if there is auto correct on scrabble - the times I have made ghastly mistakes with that - no hole big enough and no comment DD please lol

We like playing Bananagrams, sort of like Scrabble but faster...those little words are the best, especially near the end of the game.
Hey, I'm for any type of learning game!

Baked blueberry muffins and an ice cream pail of oatmeal cookies for the builder and crew. I felt terrible, they had to move two window over 18 inches to fit the fireplaces. They are the zero clearance kind versus full masonry. Masonry fireplaces are beautiful but so much more expensive. The doors and windows should be in on Friday, which should make the house look less Tyvek white!

I have two more return dates for cookie baking at the bait shop!

And the big Halloween super store opens later this month. Seriously?! I am NOT ready for that!

So many shooting stars out tonight! Something to look at on bear watch.... big bear is back in the hood. Maybe he will eat the murderous smaller one. I had ice cream cake tonight, B-day celebration for my third son. I cooked him a dinner with fresh bread and sent some home with him. Amazing how quickly they like real stuff when they have to deal with dinner on their own! LOL!

@Mtn Margie happy birthday to your DS. Yep, they do develop a sense of appreciation for mom's cooking once they don't get it every day. Sorry to hear the big bear is back, be careful!

@MissWiggles love fire places mum has an inglenook where they used to cook with the original pots and spit. Bit dormant now because no one is prerepared to clean the coals. I want to come for the house warming will bring an apple tart to die for...apparently - personally its just OK.. lol

@Mtn Margie be careful of those bears - as i said before it on the news here in yUK...

@NorthFLChick have you ever played 'Consequeneces" what you do is all take a piece of paper and draw a figure from the head and roll it up tight until the stem of the neck is showing, then you pass it on and draw until the waist is showing and so on - its really quite a fun game and simple - mum made all the carers laugh with her drawings. Also got a jigsaw today 3000 pieces so will try tomorrow -

Hi WW, I've never heard of the Consequences game. But I do love jigsaw puzzles!
