Nothin' It was hot here as well, but today we have some rain coming in, however they are back at work. DH slept really well and it is amazing what a day out in the real world can do. He usually gives me a weird look when I am zonking out at 9PM, guess who was catching ZZZZZZZ's by 9PM ???!!

We got some rain here also, 1.10 inches by 0800 and still more on the way.

Hi guys been awhile, need more help - I am so needy sorry- but the home are saying they cannot cope with father he is too aggressive so now I have a prob - always was an aggressive man but at 92 you would think it had faded a bit - but apparently not.

Only friend I have right now is the cat - have to move mother in to home as well but they are very wary of her now and she is not at all like him - everything would be so much better if this bloody awful weather would clear up never ever known such an horrible place and DH can't get a visa for a month so.--.missing my chooks so much - my son says that Molly is sitting on three eggs and chisi has dropped three on top so lots of chickenning going on - just wish I was there

Hi @whoop whoop I'm sorry you're having such a tough time over there. I'm kind of surprised the people at your dad's home don't know how to deal with your dad's behavior but then I haven't had to deal with all you are going through. I don't think a person's basic personality changes with age...if anything, age seems to intensify their traits. Was your mom going to go into the same home? Can the home people give you any recommendations of someplace else? Surely your father isn't the only person that has these issues...where do others like him go?

It's tough being so far from home and your usual routine. I bet they miss you as much as you miss them. It sounds like your birds are doing well, that's a good thing.

I wish I had some answers for you but all I can offer is an ear to listen and my prayers. Don't forget to take care of yourself (and the cat!) while you're taking care of everyone else.
