Love the pictures, Shad. Funny how some chooks are pretty clueless & others smart as. How much land do you have there?

12.5 acres. The chickens tend to use about 4 acres of that. From what I've seen with more and less tribes an acre per tribe/family group is comfortable for them. It gives enough room to avoid the other tribes if necessary and supplies enough forage most months of the year for them to eat maybe a third of what I read people feed their contained flocks.
There were five tribes here at one point and one tribe in particular started to use new territory. Fewer tribes meant their range contracted.

Morning shad they can be frustrating at times huh

They can Penny. After a few years of looking after them you kind of get to know what they should be doing by the survival of those before them.
You can see why the survivors survive. They take different routes, better cover, more aware of their surroundings, know where the best forage is; lots of things. Some say it's just luck but from what I've seen I think it's 50% luck and 50% experience/intelligence.

I third the pictures of the trial requests please.

Or even just pictures of the dogs if you can. I know sometimes trials, and shows/dog sports in general, may be a bit chaotic and it can be hard to manage to get pictures when you’ve got a lot going on! So I’d even settle for pictures of the dogs.

How many dogs do you have now!?

And do you ever breed them!? Puppy pictures are always appreciated.

Wait, what bomb? I missed it.

Yesterday morning the sheriffs dept. said that a IED was detonated at a local elementary school. Kids were bused to a nearby schoolhouse and all other local schools put on lockdown. Turns out a transient had picked up the pop bottle at a nearby jobsite and tossed as he walked through the playground
