Thanks everybody. It is one of Brisbane's better kept secrets & the locals sneer @ the islands so we've had it pretty much to ourselves for 30 years. With soaring mainland costs that is now changing.

Plus pouring rain outside- hopefully it gets it out of it's system before the temps drop- we are supposed to be getting our first "lint flakes."

That used to be the norm - today parental discipline would be the exception.

Roomie, some of that nonsense happens at wrestling, but the refs do not tolerate it and eject anyone. I have seen the police come and arrest a father who was deemed as being abusive to his kid because enough parents made the call. Generally, if you are "one of those," you get cold-shouldered by most. Now, that may just be in the Front Range area and perhaps different in other places, idk.
We are in for some nasty weather...

@Mtn Margie when GS started wrestling there was a girl who wrestled. No one wanted to wrestle her so grandson said he would and she beat him soundly. Six months later and more experienced he wrestled her again and beat her unmercifully. Her father walked by the mat and stepped on my grandson. When I said something to him, he said, "It's okay Pa. I deserved it - I shouldn't have been so rough on her."

Are you drinking enough water DD? I find a lot of my headaches happen when I am too busy to get my drinking in.
