BYC Café

I missed what happened to Dobies potential dog & what happened to IM's face...

I'm sorry about the car Sour, but glad it was only the car! Sorry about whatever happened with the dog Dobie & sorry you're still not well Cap!

Glad everyone is having nice visits with family. We have our annual Christmas visitors coming in the 24-25th (a brother & sister team I've known since the 2nd grade) & I need to put the broom to work.
Thanks Room, I may be going to the doctor tomorrow.

Dobermans ARE exclusively indoor dogs. They are not farm dogs for certain. They were created for protection. They have very sleek coats and low body fat so they cannot handle temperature extremes for long periods of time.
Regardless, I keep my dogs as family members and companions so they live in the house with all the creature comforts we enjoy.

I guarantee no one here doubts even for second that you are an educated, impeccably conscientious dog owner. The NJ dummies were projecting their ignorance & it has nothing to do with you. :hugs

Thanks, Roomy. :hugsShe's doing good right now and seems back to normal. I assume she had/has a concussion, so will be watching her very closely. Don't know what could be done about it, but I think she's okay.
Sorry, Meg, but who is Chickie Buns? I'm glad she is coming around but I can't imagine NOT sustaining permanent damage from from a kick to the head by a cow. Twice.

Meg's Chicki, a beautiful Blue Heeler.

Yes, I know, DL. It may sound ridiculous, but it well and truly is something she loves: to work. We'd never intentionally let something happen to her, that's our baby.
