BYC Café

Can you make it tea... I don't think I can handle coffee right now. Husband is cleaning the coops and I'm watching lifetime movies with a heating pad on my back.

Of course! DH and I used to own a tea & spice shop so we have a lifetime supply of tea available.

Take care of your back!

I would get them checked for parvo because it doesn't just go away with bland food, yogurt, and water. They need antibiotics to treat the infection plus sometimes they need plasma transfusions.
It's a virus, it can't be treated with antibiotics, they're 100% back to normal now, we let their bodies fight it off. That was like last year when it happened.

Good Morning all! Sunshine here in north Texas! Such a nice change over the last few weeks. Still will need a few days to dry out a bit, so I'll still be cleaning dirty floors from the foot traffic. The girls will get some time in their alternate yard I move around the garden. Their egg production has slowed down and one has not laid in a week, so hopefully all the warm sunshine will put things back into motion.

We're no longer are going to adopt from shelters due to expenses, & broken promises. For now on we're going to take in free to good home animals.
Free to a good home pets are already in a home. Shelter pets are under tremendous stress until they end up being put to sleep. Adoption fees help cover cost of vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, care and upkeep while in the shelter. These animals are under a death sentence.
