He has a hard time keeping on weight, suffers chronic diarrhea and is due for a colonoscopy anyway.

DH eats lots of fiber daily. Remember, we eat a Paleo diet.
I don't know if it's a side effect of one of the drugs he's taking. It is a side effect of the donepezil. This is one reason to get the gastric workup done.
