BYC Café

SHE would have arisen sooner if you started the bacon first and left the door open so the aroma got in the bedroom.

As a child my bedroom was directly above the kitchen. One of my favorite memories is of the smell of coffee perking and bacon frying while I snuggled down in my barely heated bedroom.

ooo I love goulash :drool haven't had it for ages. I didn't know till I went to Hungary that it should really be a soup rather than a stew, but both varieties are good with me! Enjoy Penny!

MIL was Hungarian - first generation born in this country - her goulash was mid way between soup and stew. It was also exceptionally good. I still make several of her recipes .
