Yes, it's natural. Quite the variant, huh? I'm going to put it in the incubator next week. I wouldn't think extra pigment would effect hatch, but I've never hatched anything with an incubator :confused:

Good evening Cafe.
Warmish today until the rian turned up. Did the coops. Had just shut the door on this one and walked over to do the ducks and Hurry I think slipped in and threw most of the bedding in the nest boxes out.:rolleyes:

I have never seen an egg that vivid blue colour before.
 
That was my first thought too. This is like a robin's egg.
The fact is I should have noticed the problem before it got to the stage it's at.
While I check all the chickens once a week on average I haven't been checking the soles of their feet for some time.:he
Mostly I check them over at night on their roosts.
