Thankfully my kids are into catching frogs and grasshoppers, playing with the baby animals at the house and sports.

That is good.
Mine are too young, but the overly dramatic morose young shimmering man on the big screen was hard to miss.

Hey All, Happy Morning! I will take whatever coffee is put in the cup and if I don't drink it all, I will toss that garlic coffee into a pot-roast for dinner. Glad you are getting some rain, Whoop. I bet that is a nice change and I remember how nice it was to get rain again when we lived in Tuscon, AZ for awhile. We would actually drive around and chase down a rain cloud........

Day started off good, had breakfast cooked and started on a batch of crack when my fav.#2 DD comes in from feeding the horses with one of her (I can't leave it alone, hungry, cold outside on the side of the road) dogs that need a new home. It had worked a hole in the side of the kennel and was fighting with another one of her (see above) dogs. "Dad you need to fix the kennel again"
It's a good thing I like dogs.

I forgot to respond to this one.
I would rather fix what a dog tears up, then when one of our horses goes on a sliding stop contest with a fence as the stop line.

That can take hours to make right again.

Oh, geez. I hate it when Syd and Latte get squabbling. Syd is a 40" oversized mini, and Latte is a 15 hh QH. For their safety, the minis have separate living quarters from the "bigs," but they share a fence line. Latte and Syd are the "boss mares" on their respective sides of the fence, and now and then there are boundary disputes. A few months ago, one escalated to a kick fight, which demolished a section of fence. Thank the Lord I was able to deal with it quickly - one kick from a horse Latte's size and I could be dealing with a dead mini.
