I am not edible!
Her big sister is not edible!!
The throw blanket, the throw pillows, my socks (with feet in them or not), the area rug, her bed, Skittles, her collar/leash, her shoulder carrier... shall I go on??!!
Well, that's what she is finding out. :lau:lau As a puppy Maggie limited her chewing to toys. As an adult she would mouth any/everything. We would walk through the house with her holding my hand of shirt sleeve and me holding the fur on top of her head, and then of course there was the attacks on my slippers.

She's a brat!! Starting to have more "accidents" where she pees outside of her porta-potty inside her play pen. It's easy enough to clean up but that's hardy the point. None yet today but it's still early. She did pee on her pad twice while I was busy in the kitchen.
And the chewing! WTH? The entire world is not edible.
Thank goodness she sleeps well at night or I'd have gone stark raving mad by now.

I hope there isn't a lot of meat that needs to be added and just gravy and presentation.

Oh no! I'm sorry. Little Salt has been more active too, but only about 4-5 little accidental pees inside since she arrived (I take her out whenever she's been playing hard for over 30 minutes or when she wakes up, just to get the point across - although maybe excessive on my end). I think she'll be a little chewer too. We're redirecting that to toys and so far there has been no damage, but we will have to keep on top of that to make sure she knows what is acceptable and what is not. She's a smart cookie, so I know that she has a good idea of that for now (whether she'll choose to be defiant later or not has yet to be determined). Her biggest issue is still the fascination with everyones big toes in combination with those sharp needle teeth! Haha.

Yes, the chapter is almost done thankfully. We are just discussing the finishing touches now 🙂

Our second Dobie, Raven, chewed her blankets all her life. Couldn't break her of the habit, no matter what we tried.

She sometimes swallowed bits of "binkie" too, because we'd find brightly colored bits out in the woods where she did her business.

She was a character, that's for sure. Eventually, we had to just accept her quirk. We even said that the binkies became her artwork. She knew where the holes should be, so she put them there.

We are expecting another storm prior to Christmas and next weekend it gets cold. Days not getting warmer than 20 and nights in the single digits.
We are getting rain and 50°F on Friday. Not sure how you are missing out on that but I'm happy for you. I fear a lot of ice on the walking and driving areas of the property.

Yeah, the snow is pretty, got about 5-6 inches here, but it's still kinda 'wet' and doesn't throw well. Thought it was going to go well after the first clog, got a couple good rows done, then I threw a chain. .....
We got about the same amount. It was so wet and dense I didn't get the garden tractor 10' out of the barn before the blower chute and the augers were cemented in. No amount of clog clearing would get me further. Ended up moving the snow with the Mahindra. More comfortable to drive but a lot less maneuverable, especially near the cars, and not nearly as neat as blowing snow across the landscape.

She won't know what is edible until she tries it!!

Paleo sticky buns...? Oh, do share!
There is no such thing. These were for a work party.

I just buy Bella fleece blankets for $2 or $3 from the thrift stores. When one is in tatters I toss it and give her the next one. She's never damaged anything of mine.
