Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee. @DobieLover good luck with the chicken drama. When life stuff gets too deep, I get physically busy to get out of my head - that can be a scary place to dwell.

I have 2 ways to get away from stress. One is working on my ceramics. The other is rock collecting. Have not done the collecting lately, but hoping to do some of that soon. So peaceful being near a stream and hearing the water trickling by. Sometimes i sit and look at a pile of rocks, sometimes i wander along and see what i find on the way. Love my rocks! Hubby, not so much, as far as the rocks go.Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee. @DobieLover good luck with the chicken drama. I've read that toad eggs, and toads, are unpalatable to fish and probably other critters.@aart I saw the big white comet playing with a strand of toad eggs from last nights spawn. Hopefully, she munched on some of them.
This being a carnival fish that has never been in a pond wouldn't know until after she ate some. There are going to be a lot of tadpoles when these eggs hatch.I've read that toad eggs, and toads, are unpalatable to fish and probably other critters.
Oh good grief! I just read up on how the toad eggs and taddies can hurt my fish if they eat them. I've been trying to feed them fish food but they haven't really been coming to the surface to get it. So they may be hungry enough to sample them and get sick from the toxins they excrete. This being a carnival fish that has never been in a pond wouldn't know until after she ate some.
