Very cool mongoose! If I had something like that around here it would be a weasel and it would kill all of the chickens in a heartbeat. Glad that it just likes eggs.

This is the one that I use. I have not put the cayenne in. Maybe for the winter?
You can tweak it to get it sweeter or darker.
Another note: I despise the taste of nonfat powdered milk and so I use Nestle Nido powdered whole milk.
I use a flour sifter to mix the stuff together.

Recipe courtesy of Alton Brown

Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup cocoa (Dutch-process preferred)
2 1/2 cups powdered milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or more to taste
Hot water

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and incorporate evenly. In a small pot, heat 4 to 6 cups of water.

Fill your mug half full with the mixture and pour in hot water. Stir to combine. Seal the rest in an airtight container, keeps indefinitely in the pantry. This also works great with warm milk.

NO ONE in my family handles idiocy  WELL   - we'd all be sitting in the car fuming.

We don't handle idiocy well either. My father's favorite saying, when someone does something stupid is "are you unconscious?" They finally figured out the permit and $917.00 later we have it. Apparently basements, porches and god knows what else count as "living space". Thank god the garage is already built, otherwise that would have been 2000 more square feet that they would have charged us for! We have spent over 2000.00 in permitting and have nothing to show for it yet. :he

I have to share a funny tale.

So, first off, im not a skinny lass. I've got some blubber on me. It's been a bit of a battle of mine for a while, and sadly my weight has kind of taken off in me since I moved to Cali.

So I went shopping with a friend and her two daughters. One is two months, the other is two and a half. Now the two month old....she's at a stage where only mama can hold her. So me going shopping with them was more me wrangling the older one (which is fine, we have a lot of fun). So I have to buy blue polo/golf shirts for my new job. So I find some and go to try them on and ask the toddler if she wants to come with me or stay with mama (who has hands full with two month old). Nope she wanted to come with me. Okay, let's do this.

Take off my shirt to try on the other one (she's in the change room with me of course) and she starts laughing.
"You laughing at my flub child?!"
She laughs harder.

So I do what any self respecting mature adult would do in this situation.

I jiggled my belly flub at her.

Needless to say at some point my belly ends up getting the bongo drum treatment. Lol.

Silly child. I hope the other people in the change room had a chuckle.
