Scott, glad you had another nice day!

WV, enjoy that vacation. Any special plans?

Eggsy, love that picture!

Great pic Eggsy. Looks about the right height :)

We're still working on the new coop/run at our camp, anticipate moving my flock of Lavender Orpingtons as soon as we get it secure. Maybe later this weekend, or by next weekend. Got alot done today, just ran out of lumber.
Also hope to do some deer hunting if its not too warm. Might rain tomorrow and cool things off enough.

Sounds like you're going to be plenty busy WV. I hope the weather cooperates with your plans.

It's been said that 'into each life a little rain must fall'
I do wish that it wasn't so soon after the last deluge.
I hope that the weather works with everybody plans/hopes for the week-end.
Hoping for a quick and easy rain, and dry week-end.

*sigh* You have no idea how badly I wish I could wrap the rain up and send it to some of my friends in, say, California or Texas . . . .

Obviously, rain is one thing I don't need right now. The water level has been steadily dropping by a few inches a day - it's a little lower now than it was in the first picture I posted. It's unlikely that we would get enough rain to change things significantly on that front, but it would be really nice to stop sliding around in my driveway.

But more important (to me, anyway) is that my husband's sailing club has their Indian Summer Regatta this weekend. This year, a lot of the planning and preparation has been his responsibility, and having put all that work into it, we'd like it to go off without a hitch.

I think we might get a little more rain today too. Ugh!

Bunny, good luck with the event. At least you have the weather to blame if anything goes wrong. But I bet you guys did a great job, and all will be fine! :fl

Happy Friday all!

Just looked at the weather map that shows temp, you guys are warm even in the mountains, good luck with cooler weather.

Yes it was downright hot yesterday! Looking like another warm one today, probably ruin any hunting. Rain should cool it off some, I just hope it isn't a downpour, and doesn't last long. Hope yours is just a quickie too.
