the middle one looks really good.
This is my favorite pie of all times ever.. but it is difficult to find one that isn't mostly that nasty corn starch jell stuff.

Throw a scoop of ice cream or Cool Whip on that, and I'd swear I'd gone to heaven..

Probably! Welcome aboard.
As NFC said, Scott makes great coffee. I'm not normally a coffee drinker, but if he's fixin, I'm drinkin.
How did Scott get stuck with that job anyway?
Yummy! I'm in! I don't start my day without a cuppa and I just bought my husband a coffee roaster and green beans for Chistmas! Yeah, we're addicts.
Yeah, it's almost comically easy.@Bunnylady I had to find out what Swedish apple pie is. Is this like yours...crustless pie topped with some sort of pecan topping?
Yeah, it's almost comically easy.
This is the basic recipe:
Peel and cut up enough apples to fill a pie plate about 3/4 full. Toss apples with a combination of cinnamon and sugar, put in the pie plate.
Melt 1 stick of butter. Combine with 1 cup of flour, one cup of sugar, and one egg. Spread over apples. Bake in a 350o oven until crust is lightly browned (about 30 minutes).
You can vary it a bunch of different ways to suit your taste - chopped nuts, vanilla, nutmeg, etc. I like to use Granny Smith apples, and use half brown sugar, half white.
I can see why you may need to make 2 of these.
Is this a social thread that I might be able to keep up with? (I.e., doesn't have 400 posts per day,) LOL![]()
