Cleaning and baking muffins is on the adgenda for today. I have a meeting at the house tomorrow morning...gotta have the coffee and snacks ready!

Thank yo, I am not holding out much hope for him, but gotta try. I really thought he was dead, DH claims responsibility for the chick not being dead. Says he laid his hand on the chick and brought him back to life If he did, he did a lousy job. Chicks still barely alive :\

But I have another nest being built, same kind of bird, on my porch light again. I knew it was someone here that identified it for me last summer. And I found it!!

So I wish to thank Sour again. My Phoebes are back.

Morning! Sorry I missed yesterday, busy.
So it seems like 8 chicks hatched. I moved them to the brooder this AM. I still have the thing going, but I am pretty sure we are done.
They are still saying 2 to 4 feet of snow heading our way, totally @#$%^&!!!!!!
DS# had a fever a couple of days ago and so we were watching it and he had a checkup yesterday.
The docs wanted to make sure he was not coming down with a bacterial infection and so it pretty much took the whole day and then I had wrestling practice with DS$ and then after that, we did our pre-storm stock up at the grocery because DS$ doesn't have school today, so we could do town chores and get home at 10 PM.
Let's just say the coffee was exceptional this AM. Alright, gotta get stuff done.....

Well DH future as a Televangelist might be in jeopardy. The chick finally died. Really just as well, as long as he was hanging on, I felt I had to try. Not w I can just give it up and go on with day.

Sometimes it is for the best.

I know. I am just so jumpy since my last batch. But I know some are not going to make it. I have Jersey giant with a funny leg too, but he seems to get around just fine. Sigh...
