ouch!LOL - sometimes safely navigating my house is the most dangerous part of my commute - tripping over dogs and cats (and their toys) or, the worst, stepping on a Lego!
Agreed, those Lego's are brutal
My main commute hazard these days are the sticky leaf bud shells from the cottonwood trees that the dogs bring in. I've got to spend some time this afternoon pulling them out of the dog's fur before they lock into mats I have to cut out.
bear tastes pretty good I've been told........
smart woman......I heard about it. I didn't watch Jaws when I lived on the beach either.......
then it's a good thing you weren't in my living room that evening....I've seen enough gruesome things IRL; can't imagine why anyone would subject themselves to things like that intentionally. There are images that I wish I could erase that will be in my mind forever, and they didn't appear on a movie screen.
I love those kinds of trees! They have a very defining presence about them. There is a huge cotton wood tree by this little Trout stream I fish..... Always wanted to get a picture of me standing next to it... It is massive maybe the biggest around I've seen... But there is never anyone around to get to take a picture for me. Probably why I fish there.... We figure that tree is at least 300 years old.

Quote: Bert, were you here when Margie described the morning the bear got in her house?
That is my top favorite BYC post.
She had a bear in her living room! or at least kitchen.
