I've never buried a chicken, but I have had to bury other pets before. We always put them in a cardboard box because it rots, but if you dig the hole deep enough then it should be fine. Maybe put a rock on top?So, here I am again asking for advice. How do you bury chickens, straight in the ground or in a bag first? Have just had my four Red Sex Links killed by a stray pitbull. Animal control has hauled her off, I've rescued Madea, and now I'm cleaning up the carnage. This is horrible. I have the hole dug and I just need to know which way to go. Advice, anyone?
