The course was 4 + miles, somewhere around 40 near impossible jumps, and they were supposed to average 21 mph through the course. Oldest human competitor was a 60 year old man from New Zealand. I believe that 3 horses/riders had clean finishes.

Good afternoon everyone! Been a long and busy week and the fair and I admit, a bit relieved it's over. I see we have a few new members in the Cafe', so welcome all!
I haven't watched any yet, that sounds interesting to watch!
I have been meaning to watch some, just haven't done it yet!

I love the gymnastics and swimming, but I think I'll have to watch a few equestrian competitions this year.
He would put me to shame I'm sure, even if I would jump My Caddy at her age anymore. Even when we were both alot younger, the highest I ever let her go was about 3.5 - 4 ft.
I found out that I didn't bounce very well and had trouble planning my smooth landing while I was mid-air between the saddle and whatever I was about hit like a sack of sh*t.
