Thanks, Scott. We're in the 'dog days' of summer. Very hot, very humid (sauna level) and absolutely no air movement.

All that being said, it still beats winter and snow.

I can remember when I liked Winter and the snow that was so much fun to play in.
Then I got old enough to do the shoveling, ice chipping and , frost removal from windows.

About my 1st lesson in 'life is not all ice cream and cake'

what, where, when ???? I heard someone said ICE CREAM and cake........ I was about to take a nap but, I think I can tough it out if ice cream is coming....

Yum ice cream. I wish I could mix some coffee and ice cream. Sometimes I will make my kids ice cream cakes for their birthdays. I can't stop think about McDonalds Frappe. I may need to go to town. After all, its got coffee in it so it can't be all bad.

Speaking of rum - one year our Village had an open house and someone made Tiramisu. At first I thought it tasted t strongly of rum, but after eating several large pieces, it started to taste delicious. When I kept falling off my chair, my friend suggested I had enough. I am not a drinker, so I'm guessing the fumes did it.

My mom used to get drunk just smelling the neck of an open bottle of wine. No kidding. Must be genetic.
