The animals here absolutely own us. They always get their food first and THEN we get groceries, so the chickens are a new experience...they give US food and we are grateful.

Dogs are relaxing - I got up too late for a morning training session. Will work them tonight. Field trial at my local club starts tomorrow and runs through Monday. My classes run on Monday. Thankfully the weather is supposed to break after today.

Good morning. Sitting outside waiting for my 5th egg to be laid. She just started over the weekend and doesn't seem to be on a schedule yet. Had the misfortune of finding her and her sister eating the first laid egg so I am egg sitting to remove it ASAP. Got ceramic eggs put in nesting box since they all have been outside the coop. This is a learning curve for both of us. My first time being a chicken mom. BYC has been awesome.

I agree. As well as to see I sure hope you're patient cause you might be waiting for a long time!
