I agree, pie with ice cream on top is right up there with a bowl of cake and ice cream.
i hope that all is well with you this fine morning.

Morning! We did have cake and ice cream last evening. Not as nice as the one pictured though.....
Time to hit the coffee and git a move on! XC meet tonight, graduation requirement meeting tonight and wrestling. OH MY!
Wrestling- not gonna happen, XC- definitely and the parent meeting- eh, I'll read the notes.

I am so ready for this weekend, I'm in Margie's camp with that 'back-to-school-crud'
Wiggles, that cake sounds so good

Bunny, we have a 'Drama Queen' who is the biggest wimp about any pain that she gets just a pinch of Bute with the rest of the dose applesauce.
cake with ice-cream is about as good as it gets in my book.
Coffee pots are ready, one normal and the extra strong for the rest of us.

Sorry the creeping crud has creeped up on you as well...... 'tis the season.

Good morning. Think I'll go for the extra strong pot this morning.

Have a great day all!

"Man Coffee" is what we call it -- I am not a coffee drinker, but have been making coffee as long as I can remember (first for my dad, then at the cafe I worked at and now for DH) and have always made it strong because that is how I was taught to by my dad. It works out well most of the time but every now and then an unsuspecting victim takes a cup from a pot I've brewed and about dies.......

Well, you'll have to stop by soon -- now that we are back here in this area I have been informed that DH's first request is a marionberry pie. His mom picked one up at a local bakery while he was staying with them, and he liked it well enough but he has assured me that is no substitute for one of my homemade pies. You can have my share of the pie, never did take a liking to them - which is funny because I make really good pies from what I've been told.

I learned to make coffee for my step-father at a young age, and have made it for years for hubby also. Just started drinking the stuff about a year ago myself. Probably less than a year. I think I was cold one day, and I had the idea that a warm cup would be nice. Now I'm hopelessly hooked.....

So just keep on making it for the men, and don't taste it yourself!

ETA - I do drink a lot less Diet Coke now, though.

I just drink Caffeine free diet coke. Used to be pepsi till they eliminated their regular sweetener (too old to remember the name) and sales have dived and they said they are bringing back the old sweetener - yay but, now I am used to coke, so too bad for pepsi
