BYC Café

Morning! Hope you all had a great weekend.
Good Luck on your test Friday!
Same old chores here. Maybe I will throw in some firewood to keep things interesting....

Thanks for the coffee, gotta run.....

Good morning. Rain passed through here all day yesterday. Never really hard but soaked the ground real good. We needed it actually. Looks like a dry, warm week though.

Coffee is on! Have a great Monday, if that's possible.

Good morning - a nice steady soaking rain is never a bad thing, glad you got some.

Thought of you last night - came across some "reality" show on tv about homesteaders and they were showing a couple who was in CO, folks who had NO business trying to live out there like they were..........you'd have had them whipped into shape in no time!

Hey, y'all. Just poking my head in the door, but I won't stop - somebody seems to have given me a cold, and I'm trying not to pass it on . . .

Maybe we can build you an isolation tent over in the corner???? Hope you shake the germs before they settle in too much.

Thanks for the coffee, I'm sure going to need it. Big test for me today that I have to pass in order to keep my job.

Will be glad when it is over!
Oh, wow -- good luck!!!!!!!

It looks like a wet Monday morning here on the Right coast.
I hope that this don't setup flooding later.
Both coffee pots are ready and I'm already tired.
it just might be time for a nap.

Rainy day here on the left coast too -- but doesn't look like it's too serious about it, just one of those sprinkly sort of things. Here's hoping you don't end up with flooding!

Another Monday is history and I'm still here, so that must make it, Tuesday Morning.
Might have to do a 2nd pot of the extra strong today, oldest GB just told me the dryer need me to fix it, the drum isn't turning.
Have a good day Everybody!

Oh, for Pete's sake, Scott! If it's not one thing, it's three.

I think I'm gonna need the extra strength cuppa this morning. Stupid cold has reached the "hacking my lungs up" stage . . . . but at least the fever's gone, so I feel perkier.

At least you have gotten over the fever, the rest should clear up fast now, I hope

It is the last item in the laundry room that I haven't worked on lately. It is nearest the door, so to move anything big in or out of the laundry, that drier has to go outside 1st.
i think that I will put in a slide and just boot it out the door and see how far it will bounce.

Scott, how has the weather been up your way? We've had a lot of clouds, thanks to The Weather System Formerly Known As Julia, but not all that much rain (until yesterday afternoon, when we got a good inch, at least). Watching the radar, I get the impression that a lot of folks inland have seen a lot more rain than we have.

Would your dryer come in for a splash landing, a la the Mythbusters?

"Tumbling K" is clearly Bert with a name change, but there appears to be no activity under that name.

Morning! Tried out the new smoothie machine this AM. Not bad and a whole lot easier that the old style blender. It smoothies in just seconds with no scraping. Now I need to get more fixins!
On the way home from wrestling practice at 9PM mind you, DS$ and I heard a commercial, A COMMERCIAL on the radio with a kid pondering and then deciding that he should spend more time in the FOREST, aka outside. Sponsored by the NFS. DS$ just about died laughing but then sobered up and said that he felt sorry for those "other kids" that have to schedule outside time.
Anyway, back into the driving scene again.
Hope everyone has a good day, healing up, doing chores or passing tests!

Most of the rain has missed us here (Weather Witch at work again

) But alot of the area inland got a fair bit of rain over a few days.
I am just trash-talking about the drier, taking it apart now for a look-see, it might get a bounce test yet or fixed

And the name change is less then 2 weeks ago, I came across an old PM from him with BertS on it about then.

About like my GB's at the beach, they where looking at some of those 'so white it hurts' skin tones that alot of kids had, and asking don't they ever get to go outside?
