Oh and I got my work schedule for the next 2 months. 3 days in November and 1 in December. Unemployment here I come!

That's not a bad thing, right? Keep you home during part of the winter.

My Generation does not do that but it is not necessarily a bad thing, but a generational thing. I would feel guilty but the new generation is more relaxed. They do get things done though..because they are less stressed out I suppose

I think the younger generation is more disillusioned and maybe more realistic about their employment.
A lot of work is now part-time, contract, or otherwise non-permanent. Things like pensions are non-existent, and even if you have one there's no guarantee that you'll still have it if something happens to the company down the road.
There's also a sense that you don't owe your employer more then the work you provide - which is true. It's important to take care of yourself and family. One of the number one things that people who are dying have said they regret is working too much. I think the younger generation is hearing that and trying to learn from it.

(Of course these are generalizations! and are very regional and culturally dependent, and most definitely do not hold true to any one whole group, and won't apply to lots and lots of people, and there are a million other factors that go into why we do what we do...etc etc etc:))
