Supposed to have temp going up to 7 F (single digit) Have the thermostat set at 65 and it can't get there. :(. Temps going to bottom out over the weekend and more snow. I thought when it's frigid out - you don't get snow??? Wind chills are getting seriously low. I have enough ice cream for about 3-4 days if I dial back my servings.
Then what?????

Too bad the ice cream truck doesn't drive around in the winter DD.

Do you have a store that will deliver?

Go outside and make more!

I haven't seen the ice cream truck since fall. Some stores deliver but you need a fairly big order. Got empty pockets right now- Lands End kept having 50% off sales and I went berserk:(

Too bad Lands End doesn't sell ice cream, lol.

I haven't seen any eggs since October :( probably won't until March or April

Ah that stinks! I do treasure my 1-2 eggs I'm getting but I really hope they'll start laying again before March :(.
As far as I can tell it's the Brahmas and Sussex that are still laying.

I'm having the same problem! I've sent the husband and toddler to the city today, but I've got cleaning to do and would like it a bit warmer!
Mine is only set at 60f (16c) because the woodstove is supposed to provide the rest of the heat. But it's so cold it can't keep up it seems.

And I think the snow issue is more to do with humidity then temperature, but with very cold temperatures = less humidity = less snow. So how long it's cold for will have a big impact too. But even in those cases you could probably skill get scattered flurries, just not a big dumping of snow.

(FYI the windchill is -32c (-25f) right now. Someone save me lol:th)
