11° outside. That's the coldest it has been here since the Christmas of '89, when we set a new all-time record low of 0° F. The snow from Wednesday is for the most part still with us. Today's high is expected to be around freezing. A lot of the secondary roads with trees near them are still ice-covered, so travel is still a bit risky. Tomorrow's high is expected to be in the upper 40's. What a relief that'll be - it'll feel like winter!
Just give it to the chickens, they will distress it. Goats would do a great job.
Going shopping. Need some stuff to build things. Trying to decide which city to drive to.
And a late good morning to all of you! Thanks for the coffee Sour![]()
Those are cupcakes labeled as muffins. Real muffins have very little sugar and can easily go savory with herbs, cheese, onions and garlic. Love home made muffins!
I know! Growing up we had a recipe that my Sister called nothin muffins. They were very basic and would add stuff to them depending on what type of muffin we wanted.
Then I saw what the were calling muffins at costco.
Muffins have a different unique smell when you bake them. They do not smell like cupcakes for sure

Omg that hen is such a brat. I went to close the pop door and there she was... there's a door /wall on the inside that separates supplies from the rest of the coop. There is a small gap between it and the ceiling. Darned if she wasn't sitting up there. Then shew flew from there across the coop to the roost. So now she knows how to escape everyday. I leave the people door open during the day for ventilation. Guess I can't do that anymore.
Thanks K. I just did thatone of these days I may even get creative.
