Huh, interesting. I've never had that issue. But I'm guessing leaving them out in the heat is bad then? My mom says it is but I didn't think it was. I thought eggs had a protective coating?

They do have a bloom on them unless you wash them. But they are still porous. If you plan on eating the eggs, put them in the fridge asap. Not good letting them heat up.

Leaving them out being good or bad... depends on the temps in your kitchen.

If your kitchen is 80 or above, yes, probably much better to store them in the fridge.

If your kitchen is 60 and below, the counter is great.

Small world isn't it, I also buy only Kerry Gold unsalted. When I was pg with my son, the doctor told me to cut way back on salt. I stopped salting everything eggs, baked potatoes, sweet corn. I do get the one with canola oil so it is softer to work with. It's still very hard to spread.

Well I do refrigerate them as soon as I bring them inside but sometimes I forget to collect them for a day or two. Is that safe? Like in summer? That's what my mom means. I've gotten better though since the new coop no longer requires me to go inside the run to collect.

Huh, interesting. Idk what our kitchen temp is. Don't they not refrigerate at all in Europe and Middle East though?

Yeah we always refrigerate cause my mom also thinks it's unsafe
