AC quit last night, probably won't get fixed till Monday! , I'll get by until then but would rather not have too!

Good morning, Cafe.
It's going to be hot and muggy again. Yuck!! It's so hard to work outside in that weather. The sweat was dripping off my face and onto the inside of my glasses when I was working on the predator apron yesterday.
After her chicken excursion and dust bath, Barb goofed yesterday and went back into the nest box instead of into the brooder where I moved her nest. I'll have to keep an eye on her for the next few days. If she goofs again today and tomorrow, I'll have to lock her in the brooder with a pan of sand out in the brooder run for bathing.
This is how I rigged up her water last night. I found her panting on the nest. She was happy to have it so easily accessible and drank quite a bit.

Our weather calls for warm temps and clouds of mosquitos

We are having earth quakes here! The one last night rocked some things at the house. The indoor chimes did some tones and the mini blinds along with the hanging lights were swaying

My DNA test has me being a lot British Isles-- Which goes a long way in explaining why I thought that the worst air day during the fire last Fall was a good time to mow the lawn! I stopped and went into the house after getting dizzy. I had a mask on so should have been fine right!?
