BYC Café

I'll be in the salt mine with you today NFC :sick

I think it should be illegal for anyone over 50 to be forced to work weekends

To the salt mines with us!

I like your thinking of the over 50 not working on weekends...too bad we don't get a vote on that :(

I've begun to believe voting is a sham designed to make us think we have a say in things we really don't.

I'm cynical enough to suspect you're right. But optimistic enough to hope you aren't.

That would make us 2 peas in a pod :highfive:I think I'm right but I still go vote. Oxymoron?

Yep! :gig

Good morning, Café. I think that I overdid in the heat yesterday. Got a little bit sick and even took a nap - that's something I never do. Went to see a community production of 'Oklahoma' last night. There were excellent voices and it was an excellent production. Last night I bought a pinto mare from a deceased friend - it was a dream folk. It's been a recurring dream, but I believe the traveling salesman from "Oklahoma" was going to buy her, and I didn't want him to have her. Scary the stuff that hides in my id.

I wish I knew how. I'll give it a try. Off to work a couple of dogs, and then back inside before it gets hot. We are in for another spell of 90 + days, but the humidity is not supposed to be as bad as last time.

Morning Cafe

Shad, nothing like some humidity to make you feel like a wrung out sponge...stay cool! Are you going to the seaside today (I think that was you that mentioned that)?
I was, but then the storms turned up. I can get wet here.:hmm
I have a couple of friends who live on the coast who I go and see when I think I'm talking to the chickens too much. There is a quiet relatively unspoilt bay near them and we meet there and sit in the shade with a fish lunch surveying the nutters cooking in the sun.
We'll meet up when the storms have blown over.
