Yes ma'am! Save for a 4 month move to Charleston, SC with a man child. That place was a bit of a shock for a 20 year old Montana girl that didn't travel much. Ma and I drove my truck from here to there (in 3 days I think?) and got to see a good portion of the country. It proved to be too much for me, though haha. I missed my mountains :p
I've got mixed feelings about travel. I've done a fair bit. Some say it broadens the mind but I've found it can engender a form of discontent. It was discontent that brought me to Spain. Having moved about quite a lot in my life the prospect of starting something new hasn't been too much of a challenge. However, you pay a price. There is a high possibility I'll have to move again and at 64 it's not a prospect I relish.

It's still raining here. Not anything like as hard as last night but everything is just one slippery mess. I'm told the power is still off at the project so maybe no work tomorrow either.
Tribe 3's coop has water on the floor. It's been blown in by the wind through the windows and door. There are three tiles off the roof of the main house and they must be done in the morning. One of the farms down the track has lost an entire coop which got blown over a bank edge. The rain is drifting at about 45 degrees.

Also, I had never seen a cockroach or opossum before then. :sick
We used to see German Cockroaches when I lived further north in California. I remember back in about 1984 when Chines Cockroaches moved in. They are an invasive species and moved in from the SF Bay area.

It was terrible!

No one was lecturing you, @FortCluck . I would expound on it, but it appears to be a sore subject. The rest of the chatter on using words or "words" wasn't directed at you at all. Was a nice conversation I thought

Me too - irregardless of subject. :lau.

Wind is my least favorite weather occurrence.

Irregardless of need or not I have brewed an afternoon pot. It's above freezing here, but miserable with the wind and humidity. Done with outside stuff for the day.

Thanks sour could use another but food and shaving in the coops now shavings in the barn .. Sun came out for awhile here still dry but turned kinda cloudy

I know! That one bothers me too. Here in the English Dept., the undergraduate counselor uses irregardless a lot and technically it is not even a word!
As an unpopular opinion English is a wonderful language [like German] for inventing new words & some of our most beautiful poetry is the result. Shakespeare did it, as did Gerald Manly Hopkins, & our language would be the poorer if they hadn't. :) Yep, English grad. And not everyone agrees with me. :p

I also have mixed feelings about traveling. I always look back fondly on the times I did, but I hate the thought of ever leaving my house again when I'm home. I much prefer the company of my animals, anyway.

I would hate to move around. My husband has brought up the prospect of selling our house and finding something different, but that will never happen  Aside from the fact that rebuilding what we've built without Bezos' type money would be near impossible on our collective incomes, that amount of sh*t we've amassed is ridiculous!

If you moved, Shad, would you stay in Spain?
