Yay I just got off my antidepressant, I have been on for much too long and at too high a dose - just because my doctor passed away from pancreatic cancer and his partner died from side effects of his treatment for lymphoma. I ended up seeing a once a month doctor at the Medical clinic and he had doubled my dose even though I was feeling fine.

Finally got my brains working and decided to stop it. I tapered off to one every other day, then half a pill ever other day and now NONE. So I am free to be ME again. Hopefully that means less brazen, less pushy, and more of me, if I can remember what I was.

I've been on this med since the mid-90's. Kind of the same thing happened with my older sister. She had been on a different drug longer than I. She got a new doctor and she told my sister she should have been taken off it many years ago. Duh, doctors just keep prescribing the same crap because they are so used to doing it. And don't want to waste face to face time to consider "enough is enough."

Hope I will be a new and improved diva, with sense of humor intact. Will have to see how this plays out.

Was on one at the insist of head dr my real Doc said No Way .. sure hope this goes as you want love you girl

Some time alone is always nice. I got all my shopping done at 2 am i couldn't sleep last night

Yep - running dogs and feeding rabbits. I got to thinking what am I going to do when I am no longer physically able to do these things.

Nightmare of a thought, isn't it? Although it might be extreme, I've been having these thoughts as the pain in my feet gets worse. What if it never goes away? I shudder to imagine.

I suppose the fact that you are still doing what you're doing and with much regularity, you'll probably still be at it when you're 90

There are. Those chemicals also kill lots of other stuff too and applying to the top of a 20 meter tall pine tree is challenging.

Now that I don't know. I would assume they are and relatively recently, or there wouldn't be any pines left.
