Nice Job on Processing!

When they come out of the freezer to cook for dinner, They will be like what you get from the store and not from your place. They will of course be better for you and you will be pleased that they had a good life compared to store chicken.

Per Aarts advice, I will package them for the freezer tonight. They were 8-9 month old cockerels. I got a vacuum sealer on sale at Costco, so that'll be nice. I'm really curious to how they will taste. Any recommendations on cooking?

Don't have a smoker quite yet, but hopefully will get one this summer! I love all things smoked.

If I can keep this up, we will no longer buy meat from the store. Chicken was the last part of the equation, so that feels pretty good. May have to hire one of the boys, though. Not sure I'm built for that kind of thing.
