How are the chickens fairing? Haven't heard of any hawk strikes lately

I'm sure you'll look the very essence of the period.
We haven't had a hawk strike for about a week now. The last was a rather optimistic and unusual dive from a sparrow hawk. I think it was after one of the chicks but reconsidered when the alarm call got sounded and the chicks dived under a bush with some of the rest of the tribe.
Nest hunting is always a pain in the arse and I've got three laying in nests away from the coops. Broody season didn't switch off this winter and I've got pullets and cockerels trying to establish themselves.

Which coop are we talking about? The packing crate coop, or the playhouse coop?
Here's the playhouse, put a different door on it. It had that little red door on it. Started screening off the windows.

This is the packing crate coop. I got the hardware cloth skirt all put on, I just need to wire it to the garden fence.

Need to get the top put on.
