BYC Café

Looks like NYC is heading in that direction so everyone will be evacuating to NJ to infect their friends and relatives. :barnie
That seems to be what happens!

Amazing amount of rain we got. The coop is pretty wet on the floor. Generally it stays dry in there.
It seems like Davis had more rain than Woodland this time.

Yes they are in Scotland.
I didn't know much about the folk law and only bothered to find out the first year it flowered outside my house. For a few days it is spectacular. I let it grow because it make excellent cover for the chickens in the summer.
I'm just scouting about to find out if I can use the berries for a chutney or pickle. I haven't tried making anything with them before although I have tasted sloe gin.
Sounds pretty sketchy to get pricked by that thing  Did you like the sloe gin?

No I didn't.
I don't drink except at Christmas, weddings and funerals.
When I do drink I drink single malt Scotch Whiskey. Fortunatley I have a couple of bottles left from earlier Christmas gifts. I have a ten year old Scotch that is now 16 years old and unopened. The one I got given this year was rather nice. Ideally I'll have a couple of friends around over Christmas and we'll sit and chat and work our way through the bottle. I had my half brother here this Christmas and he didn't feel a thing.

Agh. Would she do that at a time like this? I'm sure it'll take a bit to dock and get off the boat.

I seriously wish that I could answer that. :lau Amazing what you get when you mix Scottish, German, Polish, and Hungarian Gypsy DNA. I'm leaning towards lengthy docking and screening procedures.

My husband is a whisky drinker and he doesn't mince words. I think you two would get along :gigOr maybe not...

Too funny. Well, I've got my fingers crossed that your gypsy girl is just fine!

I'm quite a likable man in the flesh.
In real life I'm a lot quieter than my net posting would suggest. A solitary man is what some have described me as. I'm also very opinionated which I believe I've earned the right to be.
I dare say me and him would be fine by the time we got halfway down the bottle.;)
