BYC Café

Morning! Thanks for the coffee. I made pancakes..
My granddaughter slid her Barbie down the exhaust pipe of daddy's pickup truck yesterday.
I was laughing so hard when my DS told me that! I think it is awesome!
Did he find out before or after he started the truck?

good afternoon everyone :frow It's been another gorgeous day here, temps up into the 20s C (low 70s F), and barely a breath of wind. Roads quiet, skies quiet, just birdsong and buzzing. I can't remember a bank holiday weekend like it - it's usually wet and cold for a start! :D
The lack of aircraft is really noticeable here.
I don't think I can remember a bank holiday without rain in the UK.:)

You had a bit of wind with your snow then.....
Just a bit! Should've shut the doors...

:D I think you're the only other person I've read here to use the term maternity ward..
If I had been a little less brain dead I would have gone for sliding doors in a couple of places instead of what I knocked up.
The eggs Kerrie is sitting on, are they all hers?
No. She's been sitting on the fake eggs for about 5 days so she'd stopped laying a while ago. I selected the best looking eggs from the last two days to give her fresh ones to set. Barb didn't care. Kerrie won't either, I'm sure.
They are a happy interracial flock!

One of these days I need to try one of those, everyone makes them sound so good.
Went through a Whataburger about a year ago. Meh. It's food but I wouldn't go out of my way. Same with In-n-Out. Lots of people say how great both are. No better than most other fast food burger places in my estimation.

Very short on patience this morning. There are a few threads here on BYC that are mostly about chickens and of course, someone just had to pour their baptist misery and superstition on one last night.:(
Maybe the mods will fix that seeing as how it is against the forum rules.

Or a bad roof ;) But based on the open doors I'd say you are right.

It's really noticeable here too! The flight path from San Antonio to Houston is directly above my place. Haven't seen but 2 or 3 planes headed to Houston. Hasn't shut down military aircraft though, Randoff Auxiliary airfield is busy with pilots doing 'touch and go's', their flight path is also directly above my place! :(
