Not exactly a day trip for you!!!
It claims to have been the top undergraduate university in all of Canada 21 times in the last 29 years (don't know WHICH years).
You can go to Mount A, Sackville is basically the last city (heading east) from the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia border, 9 kmThey have a nice waterfowl park there with a boardwalk through it.
No, definitely not a day trip (especially these days!).
I think a lot of Canadian Universities claim that based on a variety of different reports
But usually all have the areas they excel at!And yes, it is super close! I've been through New Brunswick to get to Prince Edward Island a few times, but there's so much to do here in Nova Scotia that I often find myself staying within the province. The marshlands at the Nova Scotia/New Brunswick border are pretty incredible for waterfowl - I spent a bit of time at Beaubassin Research Station right across the border helping with fish studies, but that's about as close as I've ever been to staying in New Brunswick

They have a nice waterfowl park there with a boardwalk through it.
