BYC Café

No but it's just me in there and any dirt or sand that I get in there I can just vacuum out before I put down the liner.
I've decided that I'm going to pack dry concrete where the groundwater is flowing through the worst at the wall bases, widen the base of the wall there, smooth everything out with sand, and then put scrap carpet on top of all of that to try to have a semi-firm base to walk on when I'm spreading out the liner. I think that will work.
It also helps protect the liner from stuff poking through from underneath.

:wee
EXcellent!!

Bet you're glad that's done!
Seriously glad. I worked from the moment I got up at 5:15 to about 7:45. I'm just sitting down to dinner. I think I won't have any trouble sleeping tonight.
The pond is about 1/3 full. Very little drop in water pressure but I turned the water off anyway to give the well a chance to recover and to make sure I could shower. I may turn it on for another hour or so before I go to bed.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee.

I did it again.
I had wandered out to the the coop to collect eggs while the hose was running in the pond. Then I went about emptying the trailer and putting it back, cleaning up the gigantic mess I made outside while running around working, taking care of the dogs, cooking dinner, eating, showering and... going straight to bed.
I forgot to lock up again and was greeted by the flock when I went out to feed them this morning.
All I can say is thank goodness for that fence. It's a killer for sure but it is also a saver.

This sounds like me. Lol. I tend to start dinner and then go outside, get distracted, then come back to a mess on the stove. Lol
