Is there any chance that you might be able to take little Piper to work?
I wish! And my office would be absolutely perfect for it. But my company does not allow pets at work even on bring your pet to work days.
It's a privately owned, work at will business

I think I'm finally getting some weight on this dog. Outside of just her normal growth.

Her ribs, spine and hip bones are all still visible but not as sharp as they once were..

One must exercise extreme caution when playing "chase the stuffy" with Piper because when she goes to grab it and misses it and grabs you instead, it hurts!

Needle teeth!
Flash back to Miss Maggie Mae. She was a ruffian and sometimes inadvertently would grab body parts. Yet she loved attacking my slippers (when on my feet) with great tugging and growling; however, if I would sit in my chair in stocking feet she would very gently play with the 'Daddy Toy". I had my first dream of her two nights ago. She was happy.

Success! Oh, wow! does that thing work! Freya pulls about 90% less, and we walked about 1.5 miles.
It's nice when you can both enjoy a walk. She'll start to see the halter as a very positive thing because of the treats, the walks and YOUR pleasure with her.

I'm really trying not to jinx myself but I am just so completely and utterly pleased with Piper right now.
Today will be the first day she hasn't made a mistake or had an accident. I kept her in the pen while I spent about an hour and a half cooking and she clearly peed many times because her pad was about half soaked but she did not pee on her bed or on the floor. That is a first.
She's out playing with her sister right now and I did glance up in time to see her jumping up and grabbing one of Bella's nipples! Yow!

The day I buried Rascal, I sat on a bucket by his grave looking down the back field.
I had a vision, not something I ever experienced before.
I swear I very clearly saw all 3 of my dogs dancing together in their healthiest happiest playing postures at the other end of the field. It didn't last more than a minute, if that, but I can still bring back that image and it brings both tears and comfort.
