I've had tons of toad eggs and toadpoles in my pondsai over the years, they never hurt the fish. Did catch a young blacksnake with one in it's mouth before I grabbed it.Oh good grief! I just read up on how the toad eggs and taddies can hurt my fish if they eat them. I've been trying to feed them fish food but they haven't really been coming to the surface to get it. So they may be hungry enough to sample them and get sick from the toxins they excrete.
I'm going to net out the toad eggs and move them to one of the nearby ponds.

Same thing. They don't bother to come up for them. I've seen them eat the flakes that sink to the bottom so they probably do the same with the pellets. It's going to take them some more time to acclimate to being in a pond versus a big glass fish bowl.Try fish pellets.
