I need to get on that for my sanity, don't think I'll ever get DW to do so. I plan to die first because I don't want to deal with all her clutter.Luckily, we overcame this situation a few years ago and rigorously started to get rid of the accumulations.
No more " this will come in handy one day" or "soandso gifted it to us and although it is ugly and of no use we have to keep it".
Reclaiming our space and just keeping what we really like, use and need is very liberating. It also somehow feels like letting the past go and rather focussing on the present and near future which lifts the spirit.
We are still at it and it feels great.![]()
You could always start your own decluttering journey leaving her things untouched.I need to get on that for my sanity, don't think I'll ever get DW to do so. I plan to die first because I don't want to deal with all her clutter.
Anyone got any extra bubble wrap. We were working outside this morning. Me mowing and the Princess working in the flower bed. I look over and see her in slow motion tripping over a decorative fence she has placed around the front bed. She landed on a paving stone and sliced/abraded her knee. I don't think she needs stitches, but it is swelling and oozing blood. 'Nurse George' is applying ice packs and supplying Advil. I would like to wrap her in large size bubble wrap.
