 Thank you, we had another batch of potatoes today again, this time with some Krakova and Bratwurst sausages, grilled.

Now you're talking, our family loves bratwurst !!

Can anyone tell me what this is and what I should do about it. I believe it's some kind of mold or fungus. It's just on top of the soil. I live in South Arkansas.

Something dribbled or dropped there and you have a mold growing is my first guess. I think it will probably last as long as the thing it is growing on...but if you want to be safe just take a shovel and shovel it out of the garden.

It came up after a cool snap and some rain. It's not really spreading, and I haven't seen anything on the plants.

hmm- id shovel it out too. maybe a type of that styrofoamy type fungi like you said?

Looks like a white slime mold... Google "Slime mold" - they are fairly harmless. Personally, I'd shovel the affected area into the woods.

Has anyone here ever planted granadillas/passion fruit from seeds? Our plant is pretty huge and has yellow fruit. I washed and dried the seeds of two fruit. Half of the seeds I've soaked in warm water over night and planted the seeds in pots (12 seeds/pot), the other half I put into wet paper towels. I also cut 4 fruit in half and buried them just like that in the garden. I also bought some purple granadillas to try and plant their seeds as well. Has anyone had any experience with this?
