Love you're page with photos.. it is interesting that each year some weeds grow in some weeds don't.A couple of the flowers are I have blooming right now:![]()
I'm working on my ''weed propagation'' project right now. I have Violets, Curly dock, Burdock, Dandelions, Mullein, Chickweed, Plantain, and many others. (as well as my other plants) Most of these ''weeds'' have medicinal properties, so I hope to be able to propagate them for both my flock and for wild salads. (You can find out more of why I'm such a big wild plant fan here: Spring greens for your flock (and you)) I'm also getting my flowers started, and I need to get some more garden beds made up.

RE: Husbands and new ideas: it's a wise wife who plants the seed of an idea in her husband's mind and waters it well, cultivates it, and tends it gently until he becomes thoroughly convinced that it's his idea, and not only is it his idea, but it's one of the better one's he's come up with in a long time. So many arguments are prevented with this approach.@hennible , I think I read half of that document about hoop houses yesterday. I have heard of them but I don't think it would be for me. I just sprung chickens and indoor growing on my husband. If I tax him anymore he might snap.![]()
I did dry out a chunk of green pepper seeds from the store bought pepper a few weeks ago. I just let it dry naturally near the window. I don't know if that's how it is supposed to work but meh.
Had my kids start some cilantro and pepper mix last night. The pepper mix is supposed to make rainbow peppers- if it works that would be interesting.
x2 I had never considered giving hens the weeds but mine aren't even fully feathered yet. I've got some time to learn.

If I tax him anymore he might snap.I will keep in mind the seed saving when my plants are producing. I don't understand all the terminology though- like crossing and currant. Once I decide what seeds I want to save, I'll have more questions.
