This past week or so I have been planting tomatoes, lettuce, and beans in pots inside. Anybody else planting early?

Aw man. We had a very mild winter here so that is why I'm planting so early.

It has been mild here also, but I'm not trusting it! Sure feels like spring... Even saw a fly outside

We had a week of days that were in the 70's. The big box home improvement stores set out a whole slew of tomato and pepper plants. The past two days we've had 8" total of snow. Oops! Wonder how many folks have frost wilt now and regrets for being lulled into planting early.....

I would start planting now, but the weather is still freezing outside, and I usually like my plants to be ready by late summer.

Wow, your gardens all sound amazing. I have a had a small garden in the past. This year, I am actually trying to plan and prepare. I would like to start with the basics as usual, but then give myself enough room to expand every year. I know it's work but I really enjoy it. I have three Apple trees, a Peachtree, and a plum tree. I can't seem to get the plums to grab hold. I only get a couple a year. Any suggestions?
