Volunteers are always a good thing. WHat you get though might be useful for human consumption, or just totally odd and good for the chickens!!  lol

Yup, and it ain't bothering anything so I'll just wait and see although it sent out some female flowers a few days ago and the fruit appears to be round with ridges, so maybe some kind of pumpkin or something?

I'm 95% sure it's fruit as the hip (I guess that's what you'd call it) of the flower has started swelling, I'm so excited! Even though it won't be ready for about three more months. Yes, it most certainly is.

Hmmm. Since peppers shouldnt have much fertilizer , as I remember which could be WRONG, to add the epsoms is to add Magnesium.

When we dip the sheep's feet we use a mag based salt that after use is dumped at the base of the peach trees.

This is my cherry that's not doing so well, it's grown maybe a few inches taller than it was when we got it four years ago.

This is what most the trunk looks like, I was thinking maybe canker or a boring insect?

That might be bacterial canker . If so not much you can do for it . Some live a long time with some do not .

Sounds like you're doing everything you can. I don't know much about the pests and diseases, so can't add anything to the discussion there. Hope it takes off.

Looks like acorn squash to me . My volunteers are starting to bloom also . Looks like mostly gourds . I had zucchini, gourds and yellow straight neck in that area last year .
