Well I could not wait till Jan to get some Elderberry plants so I bought 2- 4" York Elderberries to go with the Bob Gordon and Ranch cuttings I have coming in Jan.
I am kind of excited about these plants. There is so much you can make from the plants and the berries. And when I found they have been used for 100's of years for medicine
I was sold on them.

Do any of you have any Elderberry plants?

Nice!

There's a few wild ones I've found that I was going to transplant this winter.

I don't have any yet, but I'd like to get at least two. I want to make elderberry syrup for the medicinal properties.

I have York, + 1 other variety. (not sure what) Also have wild ones sprouting up here and there.

Took some cuttings off my high bush cranberry. Looks like they are all going to root. Still need to peg down some low branches for more plants. I think elderberry is super easy to root from cuttings. Have yet to try it.

Quote: I just ordered 2 small 4" pots thru walmart for 4.99 each. And the cuttings that are coming are suppose to be easy to root in water or soil.
I also want some of the elderberry syrup with ginger and honey.

How do you like your York?
