I'm sure I won't change this oneMade total sense to me.
Cool I think most are working on the genetics of feather types right now. I'm sure they'd love your help.![]()
What I mean by breed traits isn't the genetics of it all (I do know a little bit about dominant/recessive comb types, and I know a little about the way muffs/beards and leg feathers are passed down) what I mean is that I know the traits of purebred chickens (like, that a RIR has yellow legs, has a single comb, lays brown eggs, that sort of thing) if you needed help on your breed trait chart. If we had known this before I wouldn't have spent 4 days studying leg color.oh well, now I consider myself an expert.
Oh. I believe the chart is done, but you might want to proofread it.What I mean by breed traits isn't the genetics of it all (I do know a little bit about dominant/recessive comb types, and I know a little about the way muffs/beards and leg feathers are passed down) what I mean is that I know the traits of purebred chickens (like, that a RIR has yellow legs, has a single comb, lays brown eggs, that sort of thing) if you needed help on your breed trait chart.![]()
This would be amazing as I have been breeding chicks and have been unknown to what will come out, like one came out with a naked neck from her mother!! I wasn’t suprised but it was just cool to see.
Now I’m just waiting to see what my greenxtan eggs should look like!
