BYC Genetic/Breed Calculator Huge Task Ahead!

Crests seem to be a dominant gene as seen in many Silkie crosses. I believe that the gene for silkied feathers isn’t entirely recessive as the feathers of Silkie cross chickens aren’t structured the same as normal chicken feathers. I will try to get a good picture of a feather as an example from one of my two Silkie mix pullets.

I got some complaints from the Poultry Geneticists Society about the calculator. Maybe stop calling them hours at a time
I have been thinking about a new version of the chicken calculator and if I were you I would work with overlaying pictures. For that you would need a base picture with every feather outlined. That the main thing that kept me from doing it.
I would be interested to help. I am a coder and I have the genetic engine, and a bit of knowledge. I read english.
I read a comment about Alexa and Google assistant somewhere. I happen to do a project at the moment

Your ideas are good but (I don't speak for everyone else) I don't believe that we are looking to change the calculator that drastically. Picture overlay is probably just as much work without the functionality or results we are after.
So by a genetic engine, do you mean you have coded a genetic algorithm? Or are you using/referring to a generic genetic algorithm template?

I myself understand the coding behind coding a genetic algorithm but I'm pretty illiterate in actually writing code so as that I've not yet written anything that actually runs right

ETA: I've been told you can help a lot. Can you expand on this? I do not who you are or what you can do.
