goodness, somehow, I haven't been getting notifications here.

I've lost all of my links to the information I had been saving on egg shell color genetics. I think I have a basic understanding on how to get all the different egg shell colors, though pink only in a shell that had always been blue I can only assume is from some kind of "illness" altering it. and I'm still not sure where the grey color comes from. most likely though it's a mix of a very specific green shade, and the pink mixed together.

Poultry Press is copyrighted anyways. But here is some good reference.

Hi guys,

I started working on a dialogflow app (google assistant voice) as a portal to a chicken calculator.
How would/could one word the following question?
What are the genes of my chicken?
Goal of this question is to start the dialog and to get the gender of the chicken.

What are all the synonyms for rooster and hen?

How would one describe the color of a chicken?
my hen is a ...

From the words given here I would have to deduce the color aspects of that chicken

common misspellings

at the end of the dialog you would know the genotype of your chicken (as far as can be deduced) and I could link it to a calculator, eg the one this thread is about

thanks in advance for all suggestions
What are my chickens genetics?
What is my chickens genetic make up?
What makes my chicken look like it does?

these might work too:
What is the breed of my chicken?
What will I get from breeding my chicken?

Are we still going with real pictures of chickens?
I can go around to several APA/ABA sanctioned shows throughout the spring/summer to get photos if we need them. I'll be taking them for my own purposes anyway.

IDK. I would think real pictures would be the best for base pics in the calc if we can source them. It would make guessing what your breed is, or close to it, way easier for people who don't know what they have.

Well I'll have them if we need them.
What else do we still need to complete in the genetics area?
All the plumage crosses?
